Lancaster, PA, April 5, 2018 – OpSec Security, the leader in fully integrated on-product and online authentication and brand protection, has been named a Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) certified partner from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for its U.S.-based manufacturing facilities.

C-TPAT partner certification signifies that OpSec has met the stringent security criteria maintained in a documented and verifiable format throughout its international supply chains. As a result, OpSec will benefit from a reduced number of CBP examinations, receive priority for inspections, and have shorter wait times at the border for its goods.

Established in November 2001, CBP created the C-TPAT supply-chain security program to focus on improving the security of private companies’ supply chains with respect to terrorism. Today, more than 10,000 companies are C-TPAT certified partners.

“OpSec looks to continuously improve its products, its efficiency and its security,” said Richard Cremona, CEO of OpSec Security. “Becoming a C-TPAT certified partner is simply another commitment to our clients and customers in being a world-class authentication provider.”
