OpSec Security, a global leader in intellectual property (IP) management and brand protection solutions, announces the appointment of Andrew Clint as Chief Commercial Officer. He also joins the Executive Leadership Team with immediate effect.
Andrew comes to OpSec with a wealth of experience in the authentication industry, across both brand protection and government revenue protection. Most recently he led the transformation of De La Rue Authentication as Managing Director. Having established the division, its strategy, and operations, he oversaw its growth to more than $110 million in annual recurring revenues. Under his leadership, the Authentication business continued its shift towards an increasingly digital solutions portfolio, and he also oversaw the setup and management of operations and multi-year contracts in the Middle East.
During a 13-year tenure at De La Rue, Andrew also held other senior leadership positions, including Director of Sales and Business Development for the Authentication and Traceability business and Group Commercial Director. Prior to this, Andrew held senior finance roles at Dell Technologies. He brings extensive experience in bid management, pricing, contract negotiation, project planning, business process improvement, and international expansion and is a CIMA qualified accountant.
“I am delighted to be joining OpSec at this formative time in its history,” said Andrew. “The business was already well known to me, but its transformation over recent years into a leading provider of IP and brand protection solutions has seen it chart a pioneering course into new sectors. The business has a reputation for innovation, assured delivery, and expertise, with truly global reach and a portfolio of solutions that has made it a valued partner to some of the best known brands in the world. I look forward to becoming part of the team that oversees the next exciting chapter in OpSec’s growth.”
“Andrew is a highly experienced commercial leader and brings substantial knowledge of the brand authentication and product traceability markets, having worked with both brands and government agencies,” noted Dr Selva Selvaratnam, Chief Executive Officer of OpSec Group. “This appointment further strengthens and deepens the Executive Leadership Team and is a marker of our continued momentum and growth aspirations. As the scope and scale of our account relationships increases, Andrew will play an important role in positioning OpSec as a trusted partner with increasingly bold ambitions around the challenges it takes on for its customers. I look forward to Andrew contributing as part of our team.”
