Approved and coordinated by Autoridade Tributaria de Moçambique (AT) (the Mozambique Revenue Authority), the digital tax stamps were introduced by Mega Distribuição de Moçambique SA, and have been applied by Super Bock Group, pictured above. The first batch of bottles to have implemented OpSec’s digital tax stamps arrived at the Port of Mozambique on 16 February.

The digital tax stamped bottles have entered Phase III, which is the introduction of stamping of beer and Ready to Drink products in Mozambique. Phase I was the stamping of tobacco products and Phase II the stamping of spirits and wines which happened in 2017. “…This is an important moment in the process of stamping…” Haydn David, Regional Coordinator of Stamping stated.

OpSec Security tax stamp solutions are proven to protect government tax revenues and trace excisable products throughout the complete supply chain.
