Technical Sales Consultant - Trademark

Position Summary:

The Technical Sales Consultant - Trademark is a subject matter expert in the InSight Trademark software application and is a member of the Digital Technical Sales Support Team.  The position is responsible for supporting the OpSec Authentication Sales Team in new opportunities and for implementing new programs.  The position is also responsible for ongoing technical support and training, as well as communicating new functional requirements to the Product Management and Software Development teams. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of Trademark projects, including implementation, post-implementation, existing and new customers
  • Attain approval, track, update and report to management
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams to provide customer feedback
  • Work closely with the stakeholders to define the requirements and success criteria of projects
  • Work closely with the customers to understand strategic business issues and identify and communicate how to address the issues
  • Earning client and partner trust through technical and functional expertise
  • Overseeing and driving development, through the Product Feature Request Form
  • Assist Product Line Managers in assessing market needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical background in software support and execution
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including, presentation skills and the ability to interact with colleagues at all technical levels
  • Skilled with Customer facing interaction and communication skills
  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate with and understand the requirements of professional staff in the area of specialty and communicate these requirements to technical staff
  • Understanding of licensing industry and customer needs in contract management, design approval process and digital assets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite

 

Education and Experience:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Computer Science field of study
  • Previous experience in licensing industry and licensing software applications

 

Organizational Alignment:

  • Reporting to the Director of Digital Technical Sales Support
  • This position does not have direct staff management responsibilities at this time
