Overview

LANCASTER, Pa., October 22, 2020 – OpSec Security, the leading global provider for anti-counterfeiting and brand protection solutions, is pleased to partner with WISeKey International Holding Ltd. (“WISeKey”) (SIX: WIHN, NASDAQ: WKEY), a leading global cybersecurity and IoT company, to add the WISeKey Secure NFC authentication connector to its OpSec InSight Integration Hub.  Brand owners wishing to leverage both NFC and unique product identity validation in their product authentication efforts can do so seamlessly as a result of this integration.

Not all NFC technology is equal.  The intended consumer experience programmed into a non-secure NFC chip can be copied and passed around from person to person making it impossible for a brand owner to track whether a product has been physically engaged with or not, properly deliver to the consumer its intended brand messaging, and can erode consumer trust.

“A brand protection program employing WISeKey’s NanoSealLRT technology will further establish trust and consumer confidence by ensuring product engagements actually happened via a true and secure NFC tap of the product.  By using SKU-level information dynamically referenced from the OpSec InSight platform, brand owners can allow consumers to authenticate the product and be engaged with an authentic and personalized product experience,” said Adam Cusumano, Digital Operations Director.

The OpSec InSight Integration Hub is an API management toolset with established pre-built ‘connectors’ providing OpSec and our System Integrators, VARs, and technology partners the ability to exchange data across disparate technologies and databases in order to leverage the power of the OpSec InSight platform. Common integration use cases include RFID, NFC, IoT, and Blockchain solutions; as well as, integrations with enterprise software applications (ERP, MRP, WMS, and BI).
