Position Summary & Objective
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency in creating and delivering value for our customers, including optimizing improvements to our products, driving business process improvements, and clearly identifying and communicating opportunities.
Essential Functions Performed by the Position
Business Analysis
- Define and document standardized workflows and best practices
- Use metrics to identify areas of opportunity to improve operational efficiency and workflow implementation
- Work effectively with across departments to develop KPI standards for operational efficiency
- Communicate workflow/feature adoption progress in written and verbal form to managers and ELT
- Participate in the weekly operations activities of key departments, tying ongoing activities across all groups and communicating pertinent information customized to each target audience.
- Create dashboards in Power BI to communicate operational performance in drive efficiencies
- Build SQL queries to support ad-hoc request
Product Operations
- Point person between Product and Operations relating to feature rollouts and design updates
- Define training needs and tactical implementation planning process time-lines
- Drive product road mapping prioritization process w/Automation Council
- Establish KPIs relating to new feature rollouts and user (feature) adoption rates
- Manage global communication as it relates to rollout processes
- Leading role with product adoption as it relates to both existing and future product feature roll-outs
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to coordinate Road Mapped items with adoption planning

- Strong investigative skills and aptitude for finding the root cause of issues
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a high change, global work environment, delegating tasks when appropriate

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical troubleshooting
- Experience working within an organization with responsibilities for client deliverables
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma
- Expert knowledge of SQL and JIRA preferred
