NBA renews OpSec Security as its global licensed merchandise security authentication partner
Lancaster, Penn. — June 21, 2016 — OpSec Security, the global leader in protecting, authenticating, and enhancing brands, services and revenues, has announced an extension of its successful partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA).
For nearly 20 years, OpSec has been the exclusive authentication supplier for NBA and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), providing security labels and hangtags for more than 80 million products annually.
All licensed products featuring the NBA logo, or other intellectual property of the NBA or one of its 30 teams, carries an authentication label or hangtag produced by OpSec. Utilizing proprietary security technologies, each authentication label or hangtag is uniquely serialized and can be traced back to the original manufacturer.
