OpSec supplies fully printed tobacco tax stamps using a variety of specialized security printing technologies designed to our customer’s requirements.

Tobacco stamps may contain any combinations of the following:

• Fine line guilloche printing
• Microprint
• Low contrast colours
• IR upconverting inks
• UV fluorescing inks
• Special fibers
• Security holograms
• Colour shifting inks

Each tobacco stamp can carry an individual number which links to the full history of the tobacco stamp. This information is hosted on a secure database either remotely of within the governments own facility and provides inspectors with instant traceability and authentication information including the product it was supplied for, its duty rate and whether duty has been paid.
