The global market for Tax Stamp solutions is growing rapidly which leads us to seek a Product Specialist (to be ideally based at our site in Washington, UK), specialising in the area of Tax Stamp solutions.  This is an exciting opportunity for our successful candidate to demonstrate their expertise within the Group whilst helping to drive our Tax Stamp growth. 

This is a market facing role which will provide specialist knowledge, devise solution architectures and lead technical discussions with both prospective & existing customers.  In addition, this role will coordinate and collaborate across OpSec departments and with external partner organizations to provide a competitive advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technical pre-sales for OpSec anti-illicit trade solutions for products taxed and regulated by governments worldwide
  • Collaboration with R&D and Product Line Management to ensure suitable features and capabilities are road mapped as needed
  • Understanding and translating the market and its challenges
  • Working closely with the sales and operations to define customer solutions and architectures
  • Working with in-country partners to prepare workshare agreements
  • Gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, championing the solution vision, driving programme implementation
  • Collaborating with Sales, Operations and the Executive team
  • Promote the solution through presentations, demos, and technical responses of the existing platforms to clients

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must be able to perform each of the above duties satisfactorily
  • Should have previous experience of managing multi-stakeholder, Tax Stamp implementations across numerous sites and geographical borders
  • Proven experience of architecting and delivering anti-illicit trade programmes with Government customers would be preferable
  • Should possess the vision, charisma and drive to present effectively to Government technical stakeholders and policy-makers
  • Ideally possesses an in depth knowledge of the FCTC ITP and European Commission Tobacco Products Directive
  • Must possess the ability to work accurately paying close attention to detail and drive results through collaboration and personal involvement
  • Attainment of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • SaaS experience strongly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must have the ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise
  • Be willing to travel frequently

Working hours are Monday to Friday inclusive, 9.00am to 5.00pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch each day.  However, the role holder will be required to possess a flexible approach to hours, in accordance with the needs of the business.
